Men Will Rule Regardless of What Media and Culture Says..

The question is not will men lead, rather the question is what kind of men will lead?

We are currently witnessing the consequences of what has occurred over the last eighty years or so, in which men have been told they are not needed in the home and that the family can thrive without them. The long and short of it is that the family is in disarray. And the reason for this is that men, like Adam in Genesis, have abandoned their positions and delegated their responsibilities to women. As a result of this happening, we are witnessing chaos. What's fascinating is the culture's attempt to make what's going on in the family appear normal and healthy. The notion that women and children can thrive in the absence of a man in the family is ineffective. Period. It just won't happen, no matter how hard we try. There will be some kind of insane behavior that has to be corrected.

Men who emerge from these kinds of situations, in which an adult male does not appropriately lead the home, will always have an effect on their families. They will either abuse or carry on the pattern of abdication and abandonment. What they have observed modeled, they will model. It is unstoppable. That is what we are witnessing in real time. We live in a society where corrupt and evil men are in power. Men who are in a deformed and corrupt position of authority. We watch Lia Thomas, a transgender swimmer who was formerly known as William Thomas, take charge of a women's swim team. Men will dominate. We are witnessing the result of evil men ruling.

Mike Foster in his book ‘It’s Good to be a man“Patriarchy is inevitable. God has built it into the fabric of the cosmos. It is part of the divine created order. You could as soon smash it as you could smash gravity. It is natural and irrevocable. Cicero was right: “Custom will never conquer nature; for it is always invincible.”1 Men were made to rule. They always have and always will. Nothing can change that. Nothing will. It is not a question of whether men will be ruling, but which ones and how. This is what patriarchy is: the natural rulership of men. The term comes from Greek and means simply “father rule.”

More than anything else, this world needs Christian men who will make it their mission to submit to God's Word and then teach others based on what they have learned. Men who obey and adhere to King Jesus' teachings are what we need.

Families are stronger and happier, and culture flourishes when Christian men submit to God's Word. Furthermore, businesses and economies prosper when Christian men take the lead, so logic would tell us that the populace as a whole prospers when Godly men rule.

Women are given honor and value in a society ruled by godly men. For many years, feminism has propagated the false belief that males are unnecessary and are the reason women have not achieved success. However, the statistics back it up: children raised by single mothers are far more likely to suffer from poverty and live in poverty than children raised in homes with an involved and active father. Women are far happier and healthier when godly men run the household.

Children flourish and are blessed when godly men rule. Fathers who participate in their homes provide their children with nurturing and long-lasting fulfillment. Both grades and juvenile delinquency have significantly decreased where Christian men rule. This is what our cities so desperately need.

AW Tozer said it best “The most critical need of the church at this moment is men, bold men, free men. The church must seek, in prayer and much humility, the coming again of men made of the stuff of which prophets and martyrs are made.”

Our country will once again experience life under these kinds of men in power, but until then, we will continue to rot.

As Alex Kendrick once said in his movie ‘Courageous’ ‘where are you men of courage? Where are you, fathers who fear the Lord? It's time to rise up and answer the call that God has given to you and to say I will. I will. I will!’

I love being a man! You should too. Don't give up. Don't believe the myth that men are unnecessary—run toward your masculinity with all of your might. Put everything you have into leading, loving, and safeguarding your family.

Here are some resources that will help you rule better as a husband, father, and a man in general.
