Men! You're important and you're more important that you realize. I want to help us grow as men in our faith and in our community.
Here are three reasons we as men should gather together.
1. God told us to gather:
Don’t stop meeting together with other believers, which some people have gotten into the habit of doing. Instead, encourage each other, especially as you see the day drawing near. Heb 10:25
2. It's healthy when other men get together and talk about life together.
Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. Gal 6:2-3
3.Sometimes we as men need to talk and pray about stuff together.
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working James 5:16
Notice the key is we are together. There is no such thing as lone ranger Christianity. We are built for community. We need men who know their calling in Christ Jesus and to run wholeheartedly towards that calling for HIS glory and for the good of their families. Families are stronger and happier, and culture flourishes when Christian men submit to God's Word. Furthermore, businesses and economies prosper when Christian men take the lead, so logic would tell us that the populace as a whole prospers when Godly men rule. More than anything else, this world needs Christian men who will make it their mission to submit to God's Word and then teach others based on what they have learned.
